Val Brinkerhoff has been a leading jockey in Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Nevada for 35 years, with both Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse experience and winnings. He has won over 2,000 races in his career. He was the leading jockey 4 times in Utah, 3 times in Montana, 2 times in Nevada, and 1 time in Wyoming.

He is hands-on every horse that he trains, galloping and breaking horses to this day.

Val was also a Jockey Guild Representative, President of
the Utah Horse Racing Association, and a High School
Girls & Boys basketball coach at Millard High School.
